Earlier projects include road safety from the African Union perspective, implementation of the National Health Insurance Scheme in rural Ghana and a similar study in urban Ghana from public-private organisational perspectives, an international perspective on mental health law in Ghana, among other research projects. Plans are underway to extend the study to Liberia, particularly E.S. Grant Mental Health Hospital in Monrovia.
